I have strong self-learning ability and hands-on ability. During my postgraduate study, I mainly studied data analysis and AI courses, which provided me with a good foundation.

In teamwork, I am happy to take advantage of my diversified knowledge and quick learning ability to find and make up the shortcomings of the team. I am good at identifying potential problems in a project and be ready to solve them for the team before they become serious.

Background: Design a time-series classification model for the diagnosis of Parkinson disease

My contribution:

  • Develop an Android Application that can obtain and upload motion sensor data to mimic Parkinson’s symptoms
  • Interactive data visualization methods.
  • Solved the problem of long execution times of feature extraction program, providing more features to analysis.
  • Tried different time series classification algorithms, mainly responsible for exploring the classification of LSTM time series.

Geographic visualization of the 2015 international suicide rate overview > personal project

Background: Build interactive maps with Folium to visualize the data.

  • Four geographic visualization schemes and four interactive visualization schemes are combined in one.
  • This visualization scheme can make use of the user’s intuition and knowledge about geography to retrieve information more quickly.

User Status Prediction from Multi-model Lifelog Data
Practicum Project with my partner Anqi Xiong. Lifelog is a tool that follows the concept of quantified self and USES passively collected data to record users’ daily lives.
We attempted to use lifelog datasets to predict the daily status of users.

Irish Weather Analysis with Spark

  • Managed a team of 8 people to complete the Cloud project.
  • On the Google cloud platform, we use spark to build a cloud application, which includes time series prediction and data visualization.
